Tiaya Welsh, FNP-BC, has joined Southern Comfort Pain & Wellness as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, bringing over 23 years of community healthcare experience — including 8 years in orthopedics and 7 years as an ER nurse — to the Loganville practice.
Tiaya brings over 23 years of community healthcare experience to our practice, including eight years in orthopedics and seven years as an Emergency Room registered nurse. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Brenau University and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Kennesaw State University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in pain management and wellness — a perfect fit for the comprehensive care we provide.
What Tiaya Brings to Our Team
Tiaya’s background gives her a unique perspective on patient care. Her years in the ER taught her to assess and respond quickly, while her orthopedic experience gave her deep knowledge of musculoskeletal pain, joint conditions, and recovery. As a nurse practitioner, she combines both of those strengths with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach.
Her clinical focus areas at our practice include:
- Pain management — evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Medical weight loss — Semaglutide and Tirzepatide programs
- Wellness services — B-12 injections, Aerolase laser treatments, and chemical peels
